‘Jolson’ is a musical biography of Al Jolson, replete with the entire spectacle and scandal that surrounded the man who called himself ‘the world’s greatest entertainer’. The show, which won the Olivier Award for Best Musical in the UK, includes such memorable songs as ‘Mammy’, ‘Babyface’, ‘Swanee’, ‘Give My Regards to Broadway’ and ‘Blue Skies’ and stars Mike Burstyn, whose voice perfectly imitates that of Jolson. A beautiful production – not to be missed.
